We are currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled Bidding Manager to join our team and lead our efforts in winning bids and contracts through E-Tendering and Government Procurement.
Job Responsibilities:
E-Tendering and Procurement:
Identify, analyze, and respond to E-Tenders and procurement opportunities on various platforms.
Develop a strategic approach to bidding, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
Bid Preparation and Submission:
Prepare comprehensive and compelling bids, ensuring all requirements are met.
Submit bids in a timely manner, adhering to submission guidelines and deadlines.
Market Research:
Conduct market research to identify potential opportunities and competitors.
Stay updated on industry trends and procurement regulations.
Document Preparation:
Create essential documents such as technical proposals, price quotations, and capability statements.
Ensure all documentation complies with the standards and requirements of respective E-Tender and procurement platforms.
Client Relationship Management:
Cultivate relationships with clients, government agencies, and procurement officers.
Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary information for bids.
Contract Negotiation:
Participate in contract negotiations to secure favorable terms for the company.
Collaborate with legal and finance teams to ensure contract compliance.
Performance Tracking:
Monitor bid performance and analyze key metrics.
Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies for enhanced success rates.
Qualifications:
Educational Background:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
Experience:
Proven experience in bidding, procurement, or related roles.
Familiarity with E-Tendering platforms and government procurement processes.
Applicant Skills:
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
Negotiation and interpersonal skills.
Technology Proficiency:
Proficient in MS Office Suite and E-Tendering platforms.
Experience with data analytics tools is an advantage.
Team Player:
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Results-oriented with a strong commitment to achieving targets.
