This role is accountable for day-to-day execution of the production process of GI / welding rod / LRPC products adhering to targets, quality specifications and safety guidelines.
Ensure to maintain production as per schedule.
Create and release production orders and lots.
Adhere to the production parameters for maintaining targeted yield of GI product lines.
Adhere to technical and process specifications to ensure product quality.
Handle processing of raw materials as per defined production process to minimize cost of consumable items.
Adjust and correct machine set-ups to reshape products, and eliminate product defects.
Ensure managing required data relating to ERP, OPM Production Batch.
Monitor machine cycles and mill operation to detect jamming and to ensure that products conform to specifications.
Ensure proper housekeeping in the production area.
Ensure highlighting issues for resolution and escalate any breakdown issues.
Follow-up maintenance of all related equipment for production.
Manage available manpower for the production as required for the shift.
Compliance with ISO QMS, EMS, and OHSMS requirements as per standard.
Implement TPM initiatives within the defined scope.
Ensure safety by using PPE and maintenance of PPE properly at Workplace.
