রিকোয়ারমেন্টঃ
At least 15 years of relevant working experience of which it must include at least 5 years’ experience in supervisory or managerial roles.
Experience in analysis, implementation, and evaluation of IT systems.
Must be conversant of SDLC and SPL, Agile software development methodology, and possesses proven experience of managing software development teams.
Sound understanding of computer systems (hardware/software), networks etc. and possesses proven working experience in infrastructure projects. Candidate’s roles in those projects must include technology selection, plan & design, budgeting, procurement, and so on.
Must possess experience of negotiating high volume procurement deals. The negotiation includes pricing, devising Service Level Agreement, Technical and financial evaluation of the bidding document.
Experience in developing and controlling yearly information technology budget.
Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
Able to work independently & under pressure.
Thorough understanding of information technology and information technology systems.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
Must be a non-smoker.

At least 10 years of working experience (following graduation) in Financial Institution or Large Multinational Company, or Large Local Conglomerate. Experience can be relaxed for graduates from reputed universities in Bangladesh or Master's degree holders from any reputed North American University.

We are looking for an experienced Head of IT to oversee all our IT functions and lead the IT team that comprises of IT professionals discharging responsibilities in different functional teams like Infrastructure Management, Software Development, Business Analysis, Software Quality Assurance and System Implementation.
Strategic roles & responsibilities:
Plan, develop, and implement a comprehensive Information Technology Strategy that meets the organization’s related needs (short, mid and long-term), delivers optimal return on investment.
Monitor changes or advancements in technology to discover ways to gain long term competitive advantage and sustainability.
Ensure that an effective IT focused Disaster Recovery Plan (DRP) is in place to ensure business continuity.
Design organization's technical architecture and infrastructure, ensuring scalability, security, and reliability.
Functional/operational roles & responsibilities:
Oversee all IT related operations (e.g. software development, network security, procurement, and so on) and evaluate those according to established goals, rules & regulations.
Make presentations at different forums covering issues like viability, benefits, and risks of IT-related projects.
Analyze business requirements of all departments to determine their technological needs.
Conceptualize business goals and develop orderly processes/procedures to accomplish those goals.
Assist and contribute to efforts (e.g. procurement) for efficient and cost-effective acquisition of technological equipment and software.
Analyze costs, value, and risks of information technology to advise management and suggest necessary actions.
Control budget and report on expenditure.
Assist in relevant issues relating to ICT contracts/tenders/litigations etc.
Track innovations happening around the world in the field of hardware, software, network security, internet connectivity, and so on and propose those to the authority to improve performance and reduce cost.
Ensure due compliance with concerned regulatory regimes/requirements.
Undertake all appropriate measures so that IT related codes, passwords, documents, files, programming languages etc. are duly preserved.
Supervisory roles & responsibilities:
Assist in building high-achieving, cross-functional teams.
Organize regular meetings so that under development projects and assignments are duly customized and delivered to the clients in a timely manner.
Communicate goals, projects, and timelines so that all the team members are duly informed and onboarded.
Lead and manage technology teams.
Render necessary assistance in HR and audit related activities.
Carry out any other lawful duties & responsibilities as assigned by the authority from time to time.

Probation period will be 1 (one) year. After successful completion of the probationary period, the employee will be accommodated in the regular Pay Scale of ASA.
Mobile bill, Weekly 2 holidays
Attractive and negotiable remuneration package comprising salary and benefits including Contributory Provident Fund, Gratuity, Yearly Increment, Festival Allowance, Naboborsho Allowance (Boishakhy) and Employee's Group Benefit Fund will be offered to the deserving candidate commensurate with qualifications and experience. ** Please note that for highly deserving candidates, above mentioned requirements may be relaxed.
